Gary – thanks! I have used the SMART goal system but I think that this 6 step process adds much more depth. This might help to ingrain it into our brains for better results.

Thanks for the clarity of your questions. I am the greatest goal setter of all time but how many do I actions – not as many as I would like to think. Knowing what you want is just not enough, I guess it is just a dream unless you action it. So my plan is to follow through your questions and get my dreams realized for 2010.

Was completing a 100 Day Challenge Goal during the last week of the year, and so just got to this.

In as an Alumus, and going to the Personal Strategic Plan. At 64, after 49 years of working for a paycheck, and admittedly loving work, I have started to feel and sense a new freedom and confidence and joy that was starting to wane.

I won 1st place in my age group in a Susan G. Komen “Race for the Cure” with over 2000 entrants. No big deal, right? Well this was the FIRST 1st place I’ve ever won in any running race in my life!! AND it was in my wife’s honor as a survivor of breast cancer!! Gary, there is deeper meaning in this one step to a larger goal than can be expressed. It is life-changing somehow.

All of the rest of you – BELIEVE IN YOURSELVES. SET GREAT GOALS. FIND THE OPPORTUNITY IN ANY AND EVERY SETBACK. FINISH STRONG!

Thank you Gary for these clear questions that will help me get my goals focused for January – 2010

I am learning and practicing how to be more clear and precise in stating what I want to happen in my life – to see it, feel it, taste it and open my mind up to the details necessary to make it happen. I also add, knowing my goals and vision can be limited by my inexperience or fears or belief system, “this or something better”. That way I continue to expand my view of what is possible and welcome the gifts that come my way by doing so.

I appreciate the format you present and look forward to reporting on my success in attaining my desires! Thanks again.

In need of being able to follow through with plans, this form helps tremendously. I’m over 60 and still learning to concentrate.

It all boils down to conscious living. I have to remind myself to be in the present moment. Then, when you master the present moment, the future takes care of itself. 2010 will be a much better year. I have a clear 30-day Plan. Thank you for your support !!!

Been a goal-person all along. Still, I prefer the goal-setting structure you gave as it sets establishes good vision while keeping things simplified.

I already changed the way I set goals following your suggested method. The clearer I see things, the more I will accomplish. With this simple method of setting goals, I can follow through easily.

Very good suggestions on goal setting! It is important for people to take the time not only to reflect on this past year but what is going to be different for them this year. Remember what drives a person the most is to have powerful feelings behind your goal! How will you feel once that goal is accomplished and visualize it!

I think everyone can use a little makeovering, I can do with a bunch. Thank you for the goal setting form it proved very useful and you can use a fresh copy for each of your goals for the New Year.

Remember a goal doesn’t have to be big to make a big difference in your life. It can be something as small as checking your email less often and spending that time working on your business or exercising.

Way to go Raymond you’ll probably make it another 20 after this set!

I always have had a hard time on the whole goal setting process. Once a goal is firmly established I can work on it. But, getting to that point has always been difficult.
