How Badly Do You Want It

How Badly Do You Want It?

Every goal poses a simple question: How badly do you want it?

To realize your potential and emerge victorious, you must respond with some version of this answer: More.

And then you have to prove it…that’s where desire and passion come into the picture.

Passion is hard-core devotion to a person, goal or cause; it infuses life with meaning, joy, significance and unbridled enthusiasm.

It’s desire in your heart, it’s fire in your belly…it’s the twinkle in your eye…it’s your magnificent obsession.

Passion is your psychological mojo, it’s the reason why you get up early and work late, it’s the why that points the way…and it is an indispensable virtue that is far more valuable than money, power, or fame.

Whether you are tackling the issue of growing sales, adding value, writing a manuscript, improving your health, learning a language, or even raising healthy, self-confident children…your passion, that white hot flame burning in your belly is the ONLY thing that will keep you committed to success.

Passion reflects confidence, spreads good cheer, raises morale, inspires associates, creates loyalty, and laughs at adversity.

Passion, intense desire is a compelling emotion that enables you to go places others are afraid to go, to try things others are afraid to try, and to be the kind of person others are afraid to be.

A burning white hot flame of desire is what gives you the spark, heat and energy to start, the strength, will and fortitude to overcome obstacles and setbacks…as well as the sustaining power to stay hungry and to see it through to the end.

Your life’s path will inevitably hand you your share of obstacles. Common sense slows you down to investigate them, creative thinking will suggest some ingenious way of getting around them, and perseverance deliberately goes to work to dig under them. But your passion will boldly face and leap right over difficulties.

Far too many people go through life without making any effort to truly live it, never getting that fire in their belly for enjoying life to the fullest.

The worst bankruptcy in the world is the person who has lost their passion. For the individual without passion, life is irrational, unfulfilled, hope deprived and in a very real sense…meaningless.

The enemy of passion is apathy. It is perhaps the worst of all evils; it is a killer of ideas, hopes, dreams, careers and relationships.

In the same way that fire cannot burn without oxygen…you cannot achieve anything of significance without a strong intense passionate desire.

Apathy leads to neglect, and neglect leads to rot. Relationship rot, career rot, health rot…you name it rot. When the flame is extinguished…the game is over…Elvis has left the building.

And just in case you doubt the validity of that statement…try making a phone call with no juice in your phone…or attempt to drive to work with a dead battery.

When the flame is extinguished, when the battery is dead….apathy creeps in and…you’re toast. The only quality that can overcome apathy is passion and desire.

I created the 100 Day Challenge to show you how to get your mojo working and keep it burning bright…as the starting point, the ignition switch, the initial spark of all achievement is DESIRE.

The hotter the desire, the more intense the heat, the whiter the flame…the faster you and your goal will live happily ever after.

Take the 100 Day Challenge and together let’s create some mind-blowing results.

Everything Counts!
