One and Done

One and Done

We’re all playing a high stakes game of one and done, as you have exactly one life in which to do everything you’ll ever do. Therefore, it’s in your best interest to get serious and focus on results. – Gary Ryan Blair

It’s my great desire to ignite a flame under your behind today, one that compels you to step up your game, to raise the bar, and to astound yourself by what you can get accomplished in a short period of time.

Why? Because, you’re now in the home stretch of June, and the end of the second quarter is in sight.

What are you going to do in these final two weeks to finish the first-half of the year strong?

Also, if you happen to be below target, what are you going to do differently in order to knock the ball out of the park in the third quarter?

I’ll cut right to the chase on the answer to both questions as the things you need to be doing to finish the second quarter strong, and start the third quarter fast are the exact same things you should have been doing all year long.

The following are three simple, highly effective and empowering strategies to step up the quality, quantity, and intensity of your efforts. Implement them immediately and you’ll quickly close any performance gap.

STRATEGY #1 GET SERIOUS

With a finite period of time breathing down your neck, you have no choice but to get serious, set crystal clear goals, raise the bar, step up your game and embrace a take-no-prisoners attitude.

You demonstrate that you are serious about achieving your goals and finishing strong… when you decide that what you want is BIGGER and far more important than the fear, excuse or self-defeating behavior which
prevents you from achieving it. Serious professionals play to win and always finish strong.

STRATEGY #2 CREATE A SENSE OF URGENCY

Implementing a strong offense, fueled by a massive sense of urgency allows to finish the second quarter with a bang. Success is an ongoing game of cause and effect, and by accelerating the cause…you can and will dramatically accelerate the result.

Your ability to compress and shorten the amount of time it takes to turn any goal, idea, project or problem into a successful outcome is a devastating competitive advantage, and one that you can use to finish the second quarter strong.

STRATEGY #3 DRIVE BIG RESULTS

Six months are now history and your results speak for themselves. You must keep in mind that what you think, say, know, or believe is, in the end of absolutely no value without the ability to execute and drive results.

The fact is…your results serve as judge, jury and executioner of your performance.

This truth applies exactly the same way to a sales person’s ability to meet or exceed quota, to a student’s ability to maintain good grades in school, to a Coaches ability to build a winning record, as well as to a parent’s ability to raise strong, healthy, self-confident children.

There is absolutely no exception to this truth as we ALL get measured by the means, as well as the ends of our results. Therefore, to crush these last two weeks, you must identify the three most critical results or outcomes that you are committed to achieving.

These are demonstrative, superhuman outcomes that will quickly move you closer to the bigger goals you set at the beginning of the year.

Regardless of your year-to-date results, you and I both know that no matter how good or bad your results have been, you can always do better—much better, and that’s why I created the 100 Day Challenge, as it’s the perfect program for fast-tracking any goal, and closing any performance gap thus helping to make this the best year of your life.

Get the details here, and all the best for a strong finish.

Everything Counts!
