The Hustle Muscle

“Hustle is one of those skills sets that kids should be learning along with good table manners and proper etiquette.” – Gary Ryan Blair

There are more than 600 muscles in the human body…and three specific types of muscle tissue: Visceral, Cardiac, and Skeletal.

The purpose of all muscle tissue is to generate force…to produce heat…which ultimately results in movement of the body.

In this message, I’d like to introduce you to an entirely different muscle…a voluntary muscle…one that is controlled by the conscious brain…and just like its three counterparts…it too is responsible for generating force, for producing heat and for ultimately driving results.

It’s called…The Hustle Muscle.

While you won’t find it listed in any Medical Dictionary, I assure you that it is the single most important muscle you can develop that will have immediate and long-term impact on your life and future.

It’s just as important to your results, relationships, health, finances and your career…as oxygen and blood flow is to your very existence.

The muscle system serves as the perfect metaphor for understanding the importance of a challenge and the necessity of hustle, for the simple reason that all muscle is built to adapt and respond to demands that are placed upon it.

The stronger the demand, the stronger the response.

Physical muscles continue to grow and strengthen through the Principle of Progressive Resistance. In the same manner, your hustle muscle will continue to grow and strengthen through consistent use.

So…when will your big breakthrough come, how will your finest hour arrive?

Do you honestly believe that it will materialize out of thin air, that money will fall from the sky, that the best-selling book will somehow write itself…or that the successful business and website will get started all on their own?

For you to truly unleash your greatness and to make this the best year of your life, you must seek out and rise to the great challenges you thrust upon yourself, and then you must hustle your buns off in order to make it happen. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY!

THE BIGGEST HUSTLE OF ALL

The ultimate hustle is to turn nothing into something. To take an idea, a hunch…nothing more than vapor and somehow miraculously transform it into a tangible outcome.

That’s what I specialize in, and that’s why I love goal setting so much…as the process itself is truly magical.

So, what have you done lately to demonstrate hustle?

How have you put that hustle muscle of yours to good use?

These questions ask you to demonstrate that you can recognize what tasks need to be completed, when those tasks need to be completed, and how those tasks are going to be completed.

Your answer and behavior demonstrate your ability to think outside the square, display a passion for work…and get out there to make it happen.

Good things come to those who hustle…who work hard…who pay the price and who initiate progress.

And if you’re ready to put that hustle muscle into play in a big way, then you’re they type of person who the 100 Day Challenge was created for.

Perhaps it’s time our paths have crossed…as I’d love to show you how to hustle your way to getting more done in the next 100 days than most people do over the course of ten years.

Procrastination on the other hand is a disturbing and debilitating character trait as it is an unvoiced threat to goal attainment…the very antithesis of hustle.

Things may come to those who wait, but only the table scraps left by those who hustle.

You must remember that while others might be taller, better looking and maybe even more talented…that hustle will always beat talent, when talent doesn’t hustle.

I repeat…hustle will always beat talent, when talent doesn’t hustle.

Shall we dance?

Everything Counts!
